Description

Two connection sizes

The plug-in adapter connects the tap to a coupling with the same profile. The hose-side coupling may be designed for a different diameter, such as 3/4 inch. To connect screw-on accessories, remove the adapter and use a suitable 3/4-inch female thread.

Installation at a wall connection

Turn off the water supply before installation. Screw the tap’s male thread into the suitable female-thread connection and seal it according to the connection design. Check the joint afterwards. Do not overtighten plastic threads.

Can a 3/4-inch garden hose be connected?

Yes, with a hose-side coupling of the appropriate size whose plug-in profile matches the fitted tap adapter. Alternatively, suitable screw-on accessories can be used on the exposed 3/4-inch male thread.

Can the tap be used on a water butt?

Yes, provided the water butt has a suitable 3/4-inch female-thread connection.

What should be considered in freezing weather?

If frost is possible, turn off the water supply and drain the tap to prevent frost damage to the installation.
