Fit the ear cups completely

Adjust the headband so that the ears are fully inside the cups. The cushions must seal all around the head. Hair, hats and thick spectacle temples can impair the seal.

Choose attenuation suitable for the workplace

SNR 28 dB is a single-number attenuation value from testing. It does not mean that exactly 28 dB can be deducted from the machine noise level in every application. Consider the noise exposure and hearing protection requirements for workshop and gardening work.

Check the cushions and headband

Before use, inspect the ear cushions for cracks, hardening and deformation. The headband must also be undamaged and hold the cups securely in place. Do not continue using damaged hearing protection; use only approved replacement parts.
