Steel toe cap and non-metallic penetration protection

The toe cap is designed for an impact energy of 200 J. Although the penetration-resistant insert is non-metallic, the shoe contains metal in its steel toe cap. The profiled PU/TPU sole adds to the protective equipment.

Nubuck leather and lining

The water-repellent pull-up nubuck leather withstands light moisture on the upper. The lining is made of 100% polyamide. The footbed combines EVA with nitrile. Sizes 36 to 48 are available; width 10 Mondopoint is specified up to size 39.

Choosing and caring for safety shoes

The protection class and features must suit the hazards at the workplace. Try the shoes on with work socks and check toe room and heel retention. Brush off dirt gently and use only care products suitable for nubuck leather.

Frequently asked questions

Are the Cofra Land shoes metal-free because of their insert?

No. The penetration-resistant insert is non-metallic, but the toe cap is made of steel. This shoe must therefore not be regarded as a metal-free version for workplaces with metal controls.

Are S3 safety shoes completely waterproof?

The S3 marking includes requirements for water penetration and absorption in the upper. It does not guarantee that the entire shoe remains watertight when standing in water.

What does SRC mean on the sole?

SRC refers to slip testing on ceramic with a cleaning-agent solution and on steel with glycerine. These test conditions do not cover every surface; ice, dirt or other contamination can still cause slipping.

Does width 10 Mondopoint apply to every size?

This width is specified for sizes up to 39. An identical width cannot be inferred for all larger shoes. Follow the fit information for the relevant model and size.
