Description

Bradas white winter fleece helps protect sensitive plants from frost, hail, snow and cold wind during the colder months. A fixed frost limit cannot be inferred from the fabric weight alone. At 30 g/m², it is lightweight and can be draped loosely over shrubs, young trees, perennials or beds. Light, air and water can pass through the material, allowing plants to continue receiving daylight and precipitation beneath the cover.

Light-, water- and air-permeable cover

The polypropylene fleece allows daylight, air and precipitation through. This maintains the plant’s natural supply while the cover can create an insulating microclimate with increased temperature and humidity. The edges can be weighted or fixed to the ground.

For different areas

Depending on the version, areas from 5.5 m² to 32 m² are available. Available widths range from 1.1 m to 3.2 m. Smaller versions suit individual plants, while larger versions can cover beds, raised beds or several plants.

How is the winter fleece secured?

Lay the fleece loosely over the plant. The edges can be secured to the ground with stones, soil or suitable fleece clips.

Can rainwater pass through the fleece?

Yes. The material is water-permeable, allowing precipitation to reach the plant and soil. Still check soil moisture; the cover does not replace watering as required.

Which size is suitable for my plant?

Measure the required covering area, including the section that will be fixed to the ground. Smaller areas are suitable for individual plants, while larger areas are needed for beds.

Can the fleece also be used in spring?

Yes. It is also suitable as a cover for young plants and seedlings during cold transitional periods.

Can I reuse the winter fleece?

Yes, provided it remains clean and undamaged. Allow it to dry after use and store it in a dry place. Tears or severely thinned areas reduce its protective effect.
