Description

Cut concrete and natural stone

The diamond disc is intended for mineral building materials such as hard concrete, granite, brick and stone. The segmented edge assists removal of material produced during cutting. For visible edges, first test on a piece of scrap to check whether the cut finish suits the workpiece.

Segmented edge and blade core

The sintered diamond coating is mounted on a ground and hardened blade core. Gaps at the cutting edge and openings in the core assist cooling. During dry cutting, observe the specified work intervals and capture dust with a suitable extraction system.

Match the angle grinder and disc

The machine must be suitable for 180 mm cutting discs with a 22.2 mm bore and for the material being worked. The maximum speed is 8,000 rpm. Also observe the supplied disc’s marking and the machine instructions; a lower permitted limit takes precedence. Use the correct cutting guard.

It is intended for concrete, granite and other mineral building materials. For sensitive tiles or high requirements for chip-free visible edges, choose a disc suitable for the specific material.

Will it fit an angle grinder with a 125 mm disc size?

No. The machine must explicitly support the 180 mm outside diameter. The same bore alone is insufficient; the guard and fastening must also suit the cutting disc.

Can I simply add water for cooling during dry cutting?

Use water only if both the machine and disc are explicitly approved for wet cutting. This disc is specified here for dry cutting; observe cooling pauses and dust extraction instructions.

Can I grind a concrete edge with the side face?

The cutting disc is used with its cutting edge for cutting. Use a suitable grinding cup or another appropriate abrasive tool for surface grinding.
