The Portwest FR19 is a double-layered neck gaiter for additional protection around the neck in cold conditions. The Modaflame fabric is inherently flame-resistant and antistatic.

Flame resistance built into the material

The blend of 60 % modacrylic, 39 % cotton and 1 % carbon fibre gets its flame-resistant properties from the fibres. The cotton content supports next-to-skin comfort.

For cold conditions and heat hazards

The tubular design can be worn as a neck warmer. Portwest specifies protection against radiant, convective and contact heat; the gaiter is not a substitute for complete protective clothing.
