Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the OB occupational boot and an S5 safety boot?

The Kolbnitz is an occupational boot without a toe cap or penetration-resistant insert. An S5 safety boot also provides the corresponding protection features. PVC in the toe area is part of this model’s outer shell, not a separate safety toe cap.

Is the boot metal-free?

Yes, the Kolbnitz has no metal parts.

What does SRA mean?

SRA indicates a slip-resistance test on ceramic flooring with cleaning solution.

Which sizes are available?

The boot is available in sizes 40 to 46.

How do I care for the PVC boot?

Wipe or rinse with clean water and mild soapy water. Allow the lining to dry. Do not place in direct sunlight or on a radiator, do not machine-wash and do not use solvents.
