The Bradas PE pipe connector joins two straight PE irrigation distribution pipes. Insert the pipe and secure it with the union nut; the integrated O-ring supports sealing without adhesive, welding or specialist tools....

Description

Applications

The straight connector joins two PE pipes of the same size in irrigation lines. The UV-resistant plastic is suitable for above-ground and buried lines. Choose the size according to the pipe’s outside diameter: 20, 25 or 32 mm are individual variants, not an adjustable size range.

Installation

Prepare the pipe ends squarely and cleanly, deburr them and insert them into the connector to the specified insertion depth. Tighten the union nuts by hand. Do not use pipe grips with uncontrolled force, as this could damage the plastic or seal. Check the connection for leaks under operating pressure before covering it with soil.

Frequently asked questions

Which size do I need?

Measure the outside diameter of the PE pipe. The available sizes are 20 mm, 25 mm and 32 mm.

Do I need tools?

The union nuts are tightened by hand; adhesive or welding is not required. Suitable tools are needed to cut and deburr the PE pipes cleanly.

Can the connector be used underground?

Yes. The plastic is corrosion-resistant and intended for buried PE irrigation lines.

Does the connector fit PVC pipes?

No. The connector is designed for PE pipes made from polyethylene.

What water pressure is the connector suitable for?

For typical garden irrigation at 2–4 bar. This range is not a statement of the maximum permissible or burst pressure. For higher pressures, the pressure rating of the specific version must be suitable.
