The Bradas hose coupling is designed for hoses with a 16 mm internal diameter. It is fitted to the hose and clamped with a union nut. A suitable mating part is required to connect it to irrigation or cleaning equipment.

Matching hose size

Here, the 5/8-inch specification refers to the hose internal diameter of 16 mm, not to the plug-in profile size. Check that your hose has this internal diameter.

Fitting it to the hose

Loosen the union nut and slide it over the cleanly cut hose end. Insert the hose fully into the holder and tighten the nut by hand. A suitable equipment nipple is then inserted into the coupling until it clicks into place.

Joining hoses together

To join two hoses, you also need a separate double nipple. The coupling alone is not a hose connector.
