Frequently asked questions

Can the connector join two 1/2″ hoses?

Yes. The connector is intended for two 1/2-inch hoses; the hose internal diameter, outside diameter and wall thickness must suit the clamp.

How is the hose connector installed?

Insert the hose ends and tighten the coupling pieces by hand.

Is the connector suitable for 3/4″ hoses?

No. A connector of the corresponding size is required for 3/4″ hoses.

What is the integrated seal for?

The integrated seal seals the hose connection. The hose dimensions must suit the socket for a secure fit.

Is the connector suitable for every hose brand?

The brand is not decisive provided both hoses really fit the 1/2″ connections on both sides. Differences in hose internal dimensions may affect the fit.
