Construction hoses

Choosing a construction hose starts at the two connection points. Note the source, receiving equipment and actual hose route. This lets you determine the length and connection type required.

Plan the hose line from start to finish

Check Selection decision
Hose route Measure the intended route, including any detours. If an available length does not reach the receiving equipment, it is too short for this route.
Connection at the source Note the existing connection type and its dimensions. Compare them with the intended hose connection.
Connection at the receiving equipment Check this end separately. A suitable connection at the source does not automatically resolve the second connection.
Package contents Distinguish between a hose without fittings and a pre-assembled version intended for the purpose. Add only the connections that are actually missing.

Example: the right length alone is not enough

Suppose the measured route is within the selected hose length. The source end matches the planned fittings, but the receiving equipment has a different connection. The hose line is therefore not yet fully planned. Compare a suitable connection version or an adapter intended for the purpose, along with its usage specifications. Do not buy two identical fittings simply because the hose has two ends.

Check the documented operating range of the selected version against your application before ordering. The term construction hose does not imply general approval for any medium, pump or particular pressure.
