Description

This machine vice holds smaller workpieces in position while drilling, filing or sawing. The 60 mm-wide steel jaws provide a compact clamping surface, while the clamping capacity extends to 68 mm. The aluminium body is lightweight; the upper body can be positioned on the swivel base between 45° and 135°.

Clamping and positioning

The steel jaws close via a spindle with a trapezoidal thread. For a different working direction, the clamped body can be rotated on the base and secured with two star-grip screws. This changes the working position without reclamping the workpiece.

Mounting on a workbench

The base has four mounting holes for permanent fixing. For mobile use, the vice can alternatively be secured with suitable screw clamps. The aluminium construction makes it easier to move than a heavy cast model.
