Two-layer polyester construction

The outer layer is a finer 13-gauge polyester knit, while the inner layer is a coarser 7-gauge knit. These figures describe the knit gauge, not material thickness in millimetres. The inner layer supports thermal insulation.

Latex coating

The smooth latex layer forms the outer full coating. Latex foam on the palm adds the gripping surface. Dirt and the condition of the workpiece affect actual grip; this does not imply oil or chemical resistance.

Cold protection for assembly and transport

When working outdoors, in warehouses or while handling cold materials, grip and fit must work together. The gloves should allow movement without loose folds. Assess the suitability of gloves separately when working near rotating machine parts.

What is the difference between a full coating and latex foam?

The full coating covers the outside with a smooth latex layer. The additional latex foam layer is on the palm and provides a grippier surface there.

What do the ratings EN 388 3232X and EN 511 X21 mean?

EN 388 3232X indicates abrasion resistance 3, coup-test cut resistance 2, tear resistance 3 and puncture resistance 2. X means no stated ISO cut-resistance value. For EN 511 X21, X means no stated value for convective cold, 2 indicates contact cold protection and 1 indicates a passed water-penetration test.

Can I rely on a fixed minimum temperature?

A cold-protection test does not establish a general comfort temperature. Whether hands stay warm also depends on wind, moisture, movement and duration of use. Stop work and warm your hands if sensation begins to diminish.

Which sizes are available and how should the glove fit?

Sizes 8 to 11 are available. Fingers and palm should fit closely without tension. Gloves that are too loose make precise gripping harder; a fit that is too tight can reduce comfort.

How do I check the gloves before use?

Check the latex layers, knit and seams for cracks, separation and heavy wear. Replace damaged gloves and treat dirty or damp gloves before reuse in accordance with the manufacturer’s care instructions.

Are the gloves suitable for wet work?

The closed latex coating and the passed EN 511 water-penetration test support use in wet, cold conditions. However, water can enter through the open knitted cuff. Replace damaged gloves and do not immerse the cuff.
