Helmet shell and adjustment

The helmet shell is made from polypropylene. The adjustable 6-point harness supports fitting to different head shapes and circumferences. Six ventilation openings support air circulation.

Stainless-steel visor

The hinged stainless-steel mesh visor covers the face area. The mesh openings allow airflow but do not fully stop fine particles. Select additional eye protection according to the hazard and the markings on the protective equipment.

Ear defenders and 3-in-1 protection

The ear defenders have a stated SNR value of 25.9 dB. Head, face and hearing protection are combined in one unit; suitability depends on the markings and the work being carried out.

Use and storage

Adjust the internal harness correctly before starting work. The ear-cup cushions must seal against the head; glasses arms or hair, for example, can affect the fit. Store the helmet dry, protected from direct sunlight and without tools placed on it.

What does an SNR value of 25.9 dB mean?

SNR is a single-number rating of sound attenuation determined under test conditions. Actual exposure at the ear also depends on the noise and the ear cups’ tight fit. Do not treat the value as a guaranteed deduction from machine noise.

Can the stainless-steel visor be lifted up?

Yes. When not required, the visor can be lifted upwards, for example during breaks or tasks without saw use.

Does the helmet fit different head sizes?

The internal harness is adjustable. The six points refer to the harness attachment points in the shell; they are not six size settings. After adjustment, the helmet must sit securely without uncomfortable pressure.

Are the ear defenders replaceable?

The ear cups are intended as wear parts and can be obtained as replacement parts when required. Follow the manufacturer’s information for the correct version.

When must the forestry helmet be replaced?
