Description

These seamlessly knitted para-aramid Kevlar® work gloves are suitable for handling sharp-edged materials in metalworking, glass processing, assembly and logistics. The 7-gauge construction provides an even material structure. In addition to the documented cut and tear protection, the gloves are specified for contact heat up to 100 °C.

Cut protection for assembly and processing

The EN 388 profile 134X indicates cut resistance level 3 in the Coup test and tear resistance level 4. The level required for a workpiece depends on its edges and the task. Level 3 must not be equated with TDM cut-resistance class C.

Seamless knitted construction

The seamless knitted construction avoids seams on the fingers and palm. The 7-gauge knitting density means seven needles per inch. This alone indicates neither a specific material thickness nor guaranteed tactile sensitivity.

Frequently asked questions

What cut-resistance level do the gloves have?

Level 3 in the Coup test according to EN 388. The 134X marking also includes abrasion level 1 and tear resistance level 4. It does not specify a TDM cut-resistance class from A to F.

What does the 7-gauge construction mean?

7 Gauge describes a knitting density of seven needles per inch. The glove is seamlessly knitted.

What contact heat are they intended for?

The specified contact heat is 100 °C according to EN 407. This is not approval for holding hot objects without limit. Contact time, moisture and glove condition affect protection.

Which sizes are available?

Sizes 8, 9 and 10 are available. Choose the correct size based on hand circumference.

Are the gloves suitable for strong cold protection?

The knitted material provides some thermal insulation. Tested cold protection according to EN 511 is not specified. Suitable gloves designed for strong cold are required.
