A2 filters and mask design

The two cylindrical A2 filters are fitted to the side connections and can be replaced. The half mask protects the nose and mouth but does not cover the eyes.

Select the application correctly

A2 filters are intended for organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65 °C. Whether this filter class is sufficient for a particular workplace depends, among other factors, on the hazardous substance, concentration, oxygen content and duration of use.

Check the seal before every use

Adjust the head and neck straps so that the sealing line rests evenly against the skin. Carry out the seal check according to the instructions before every use. Facial hair in the sealing area may prevent an effective seal. The half mask does not supply oxygen and is unsuitable for oxygen-deficient environments.
