Description

The Cofra SHARPEN weigh 24 g and have polycarbonate lenses extended towards the sides. Soft arm ends and a soft nose area support the fit. Choose clear, yellow, grey or mirrored lenses to suit the lighting conditions at work.

Lens variants for different environments

Clear lenses are suitable for well-lit indoor areas, while grey lenses are intended for outdoor work with sun glare. Yellow lenses can support contrast perception. The mirrored I/O version is intended for changing between brighter and darker work areas. Tinting does not replace adequate workplace lighting.

Lightweight construction with side protection

The extended lens shape provides side coverage. However, the open-arm design does not seal the eye area against dust. All four variants have a scratch-resistant coating. Clear, yellow and grey lenses also have an anti-fog coating; the I/O version is mirrored and has UV400 protection.

Frequently asked questions

Which lens colour is suitable for indoor work?

The clear variant is intended for indoor work with good visibility.

Which variant is suitable for dusk or poor weather?

Yellow lenses can support contrast. They do not actually brighten a dark environment. In dusk conditions and tunnels, adequate lighting and workplace requirements remain decisive.

Which variant is intended for sun and which for changing light conditions?

Grey is intended for outdoor work with sun glare. The mirrored I/O version is intended for changing between indoor and outdoor areas. UV400 describes UV protection, not the degree of visible darkening.

Does the mirrored version have an anti-fog coating?

Clear, yellow and grey have an anti-fog coating. The mirrored I/O version has UV400 protection and a mirror coating. UV protection and anti-fog performance are different properties.

Do the glasses provide side protection?

The extended lenses provide side coverage. For fine dust or liquid splashes, closer-fitting safety glasses with the appropriate marking may be required.
