Description

Choose the correct male thread

The correct variant depends on the female thread of the mating component and the required pipe cross-section. A 3/4-inch connection is common for many garden hose and irrigation systems; larger sizes require correspondingly sized accessories.

Installation on the tank

Screw the tank side onto a compatible S60x6 outlet. Then fit the mating component to the male thread. Check the threads, sealing surfaces and connection direction before installation.

Frequently asked questions

Which mating component is required?

The mating component must have a female thread matching the size of the adapter's selected male thread.

Which size is suitable for a garden hose?

Choose according to the female thread of the hose fitting. Thread size and hose internal diameter are different measurements: a 3/4-inch thread does not automatically mean a 3/4-inch hose.

Will the adapter fit my IBC container?

The container must have a compatible S60x6 male thread. The corresponding female thread is on the adapter.

Can a ball valve be connected?

Yes, provided that the ball valve has a compatible female thread in the selected size.

Is the adapter suitable for drinking water and food?

No corresponding approval is documented for this model. For drinking water or food, choose a connection fitting explicitly approved for that purpose.
