Fit and comfort

The ear cups enclose the ears. Their position at the ends of the headband can be adjusted so that the band rests on the head and the cushions seal evenly. The design is in the medium size range.

Sound attenuation

In addition to the SNR value of 27 dB, the attenuation values H = 33 dB, M = 24 dB and L = 15 dB are specified for different frequency ranges. These values support selection based on noise exposure. Protection requires correct fit and continuous wear in the noisy area.

Wearing and storage

Put the ear defenders on before entering the noisy area. After use, store them clean and dry, protect them from solvents and direct sunlight, and do not place heavy objects on them.

Frequently asked questions

Is SNR 27 dB enough for my machine?

The SNR value alone cannot answer this. Noise exposure, the attenuation required and a close fit are decisive. Compare the attenuation values with the requirements of the workplace.

Does the headband adjust automatically?

The cups must be positioned correctly at the ends of the headband. The headband should rest on the head while the cushions completely enclose both ears. Automatic adjustment to every head shape is not provided.

Will warning signals and conversations always remain audible?

This cannot be guaranteed generally. Intelligibility depends on background noise, the signal and the attenuation. Required warning signals must remain perceptible in the workplace while the hearing protection is worn.

Can I briefly remove the ear defenders in the noisy area?

Put them on before entering and wear them throughout the entire time spent there. Even short interruptions reduce the protection achieved over time.

When should I check the cushions and headband?

Before every use, check for cracks, wear and secure fit. Damaged cushions or a weakened headband can impair the seal. Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning products; follow the instructions for care and replacement.
