Description

The Climax ATLAS combines fall-arrest, work-positioning and sit-harness functions. Dorsal and sternal fall-arrest points, side positioning loops and a ventral point for suspended work are assigned to different applications. Padding and adjustable straps help with fitting. Three tool loops provide space for equipment.

Attachment points for different applications

For a fall-arrest system, use only the points specified in the instructions and marked with A. Side positioning loops and the ventral sit-harness point are not substitute fall-arrest points. EN 361 concerns fall-arrest harnesses, EN 358 work positioning and restraint, and EN 813 sit harnesses.

Check the fit and complete system

Put on and adjust the harness at the chest, hips and thighs according to the manufacturer's instructions. Check all fasteners and the fit before loading. The lanyard, anchor point, available fall clearance and rescue plan must suit the application. The harness alone is not a complete fall-arrest system.
