Description

The straight connector joins two compatible 16 mm hose ends in a straight line. It is suitable for extending an irrigation line or replacing a damaged section. Installation is tool-free by pushing the hose onto the connector; the one-piece body made from UV-stabilised acetal is designed for outdoor use.

Extending and repairing

Push both hose ends onto the opposing push-fit connections. This allows a line to be restored after cutting or during a repair. Elbow or T-connectors are intended for curves or branches.

Material and resistance

The connector is made from injection-moulded acetal (POM), weighs approximately 4 g and is specified for a maximum pressure of up to 8 bar. The material is also described as resistant to water, oils, alcohols and UV radiation. This resistance is not approval for arbitrary media; check the manufacturer’s information for concentration, temperature and operating limits.
