Description

The Bradas pop-up sprinkler is installed permanently in an irrigation line and rises from the ground when water pressure is present. After watering, a return spring retracts it. The spray angle can be adjusted from 45° to 360°, allowing both edge areas and full circles to be watered. Four pop-up heights allow selection to suit the installation and lawn length.

The adjustable nozzle can water part-circles from 45° or a full circle up to 360°. A full circle suits central lawn positions, while edges and corners require a smaller setting.

The sprinkler is available with pop-up heights of 5, 7.6, 10 or 15 cm. Select the version to suit the lawn length and installation; these are variants and are not supplied together.

The raised nozzle must be above the vegetation and able to spray freely. Available heights are 5, 7.6, 10 and 15 cm. Install the housing to suit the terrain; the longer pop-up height does not replace the correct installation depth.

Which connection does the pop-up sprinkler have?

The bottom connection is a 1/2" female thread. The nozzle connection is specified as a 3/8" male thread.

How far does the sprinkler reach?

A radius of up to 4.9 m is specified at 2.8 bar. Actual reach depends on factors including pressure, pipe routing and adjustment.

Does the nozzle disappear into the ground after watering?

Yes. When water pressure is absent, the return spring retracts the pop-up nozzle into the housing.

What water pressure does the sprinkler require?

The supplied data specifies approximately 4.2 m radius from 1.4 bar and up to 4.9 m at 2–2.8 bar. The relevant pressure is the pressure available at the sprinkler during operation, not just the pressure at the tap.

How many sprinklers do I need for my lawn?

Plan according to the area shape, reach and sensible overlap of the spray areas. The circle covered by one sprinkler alone is not enough to determine the quantity. Also allow for the total water demand of sprinklers operating at the same time.
