Description

Direct installation in the line

The ball valve is designed for a continuous PE line without a thread or additional adapter. It is suitable for shutting off individual irrigation zones, maintenance work and seasonal shutdown.

Installation and operation

Insert the pipes into the two compression connections and tighten the union nuts by hand. The full passage reduces pressure loss when the valve is open. A valve box is recommended for operation when installed underground.

Preparing the pipe end and checking the connection

Choose the PE pipe outside diameter to match the version. Cut the pipe squarely, deburr it and clean the sealing area. Insert the pipe and seal according to the installation instructions; the union nut secures the connection. Carry out a leak test before burying it.

Does shutting off the valve automatically winterise the line?

No. Water can remain in a shut-off line. Before frost, drain the system using its intended procedure, including the ball valve and lower sections.
