Description

The battery-powered mole repeller is suitable for garden areas where a solar panel receives little light. Four D batteries power the device independently of sunlight. Sound pulses are emitted every 30 seconds. With a length of 36.5 cm and a stated range of up to 20 m, this model is designed for larger lawns, orchards and shaded locations.

For shaded locations

The power supply via four D batteries allows use beneath trees, on north-facing sides or in other low-light locations. The battery compartment is waterproof; nevertheless, the device should not be submerged.

Installation and operation

Push the shaft into the ground so that the pulses can be transferred into the soil. The 30-second interval reduces how often the device activates. The batteries are not included and must be inserted separately.

Frequently asked questions

Which batteries are required?

The device requires four D batteries, also known as Mono batteries. They are not included.

Is the model suitable for shaded areas?

Yes. It is powered by batteries and therefore does not depend on direct sunlight.

How frequently are the pulses emitted?

The device emits a pulse every 30 seconds.

Can the device be completely submerged?

No. Although the battery compartment is waterproof, the device should not be completely submerged.

Is the deterrence of moles or voles guaranteed?

No. Ground conditions, installation location and the animals’ response affect performance. The stated range does not describe an area that will be reliably protected in every garden.

Are the pulses audible to people?

The frequencies of 400–1000 Hz are within the human hearing range. How clearly the signal can be heard above ground depends on the installation and surroundings.

How long do the four D batteries last?

Runtime depends on battery capacity, temperature and operation. A fixed replacement interval cannot be derived; check operation regularly and replace the batteries when performance declines.
