Description

High visibility and rain resistance

The jacket meets EN ISO 20471 class 3 and EN 343 class 4:3. The fabric is specified with a 10,000 mm hydrostatic head and 10,000 g/m² in 24 hours water vapour transmission. Sealed seams add protection against rain.

Oxford fabric with mesh lining

The outer fabric is made of 100% polyester in 300D Oxford weave with a double PU coating. The mesh lining is also polyester and has a fabric weight of 60 g/m². UPF 40+ describes the fabric’s UV protection.

Features for active work

The fitted cut and angled reflective strips are designed for a women’s fit. The cuffs can be adjusted with hook-and-loop fasteners. The detachable hood can be stowed, and four pockets provide storage.

Colours and care

Available in yellow and orange, sizes XS to XXXL. Only the orange version carries the additional RIS 3279 TOM Issue 2 designation. Wash at no more than 40 °C, do not bleach and do not use fabric softener.

Is the yellow jacket also designated for RIS 3279 TOM requirements?

No. The additional RIS designation applies exclusively to orange. Before use in railway or track areas, check the required clothing and colour against the organisation’s requirements.

What do hydrostatic head and breathability mean?

Hydrostatic head describes resistance to water penetration. The value in g/m²/24h concerns water vapour that can pass through the material. Breathability here does not mean that wind flows freely through the fabric.

Is the hood only stowable, or can it also be removed?

Both: the hood can be removed and stowed. This allows the jacket to be adapted to the weather and the preferred configuration.

Is the mesh lining a thick winter filling?

No. The jacket has a polyester mesh lining. Add suitable clothing layers in cold weather and ensure they fit comfortably under the jacket when trying it on.

What should I consider when caring for the reflective strips?

Follow the care label and use neither bleach nor fabric softener. Dirty or damaged reflective surfaces may impair their function; check their condition before use.
