The oval Climax steel karabiner is suitable for connection points requiring a symmetrical shape and conventional screwgate. Its oval geometry supports centred positioning of equipment such as pulleys, ascenders or rigging plates. The minimum breaking load is 23 kN and the weight is 162 g.

Oval geometry for centred equipment

The symmetrical shape allows pulleys, clamps and plates to sit centrally in the karabiner. Centred guidance can support handling; it does not establish a specific loading direction. The application must still suit the loading direction, connecting equipment and equipment concerned.

Mechanical screwgate

The screw sleeve mechanically blocks the gate and is deliberately rotated back to open it. The karabiner has a gate opening of approximately 17 mm and is made from steel. Measuring 107 × 57 × 10 mm and weighing 162 g, it is designed for robust applications rather than weight optimisation.
