Description

The closed Bradas IBC inlet cap covers the upper opening of a compatible tank and protects the contents from leaves, pollen, insects and coarse dirt. It has an internal diameter of 155 mm and an external diameter of approximately 190 mm. The plastic construction is UV-stabilised and weather-resistant.

Fit and design

Before buying, compare the dimensions and thread of the existing cap with the tank neck. The 155 mm refers to the internal diameter of the cap; this alone does not guarantee compatibility with every tank opening described as 150 or 155 mm. Screw it onto the matching male thread by hand.

Closed or vented

The cap has no integral vent. Whenever water is drawn off, air must be able to enter the tank space being emptied. A suitable pressure-equalising arrangement is therefore required for an otherwise closed tank, such as a compatible vented cap. Do not rely on accidental leaks.
