The Cofra Busselton is a self-retracting fall-arrest device with a 6 m polyester rope. The rope retracts and extends automatically; the integrated braking system can lock under sudden loading. The SWIVEL system supports orderly rope guidance. A fall indicator on the end connector shows corresponding loading.

Rope guidance and braking system

The polyester rope runs from the glass-fibre-reinforced nylon housing and retracts again during movement. The SWIVEL system serves as an anti-twist system. The automatic braking system is integrated into the housing.

Connectors and fall indicator

The base connector is made of galvanised steel and has a twist-lock closure. The end connector has a lever safety closure and a fall indicator. After the indicator has been triggered, the device must be taken out of service and inspected professionally.
