Right-angle connection for PE pipes

The plastic elbow provides a 90° change of direction in PE distribution pipe and irrigation systems. The male-thread version is suitable for screwing into a matching female thread.

Versions for different pipe diameters

The versions refer to the PE pipe’s external diameter: 20, 25 or 32 mm. Various male threads from 1/2 to 5/4 inch are also available. Not every pipe size is combined with every thread size; the selected version is decisive.

Installing the compression connection

Cut the PE pipe square, deburr it and push it in to the specified insertion depth according to the installation instructions. The union nut secures the compression connection. Connect the male thread on the other side to the matching female thread and seal it according to the thread pairing. Check the connection for leaks before covering it.

For outdoor use

The elbow is made of plastic and is UV-resistant. It is suitable for PE distribution pipe systems used in garden irrigation and landscaping.

Does 25 mm refer to the pipe’s internal or external diameter?

For this PE compression fitting, it refers to the external diameter. A PE pipe measuring 25 mm externally requires the 25 mm version. The inch specification alongside it describes the thread at the other end.

What does the 20 mm × ½ inch version mean?

20 mm is the matching external diameter of the PE pipe. ½ inch denotes the elbow’s male thread. It connects to a matching female thread.

How is the pipe side secured?
