Description

Protection and outsole

The aluminium toe cap meets the standardised 200 J impact test. The non-metallic APT Plate Zero Perforation beneath the foot acts as a penetration-resistant insert. The profiled PU/TPU sole provides SRC slip resistance under EN ISO 20345:2011.

Lining and footbed

The Sany-Dry® lining consists of three-dimensional fabric made from 100% polyester. It is breathable, abrasion-resistant and moisture-regulating. The anatomically shaped Cofra Soft PU footbed is perfumed, perforated and shock-absorbing.

Fit and care

Width 11 Mondopoint refers to the last width. The Cofra Soft footbed can be removed for airing. Brush nubuck carefully, remove adhering dirt with a damp cloth if necessary and allow it to dry slowly. Use only suitable nubuck products for aftercare; smooth-leather shoe cream can alter the rough surface.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Coppi waterproof?

The nubuck leather is water-repellent. This does not mean that the whole shoe is waterproof in prolonged rain or when standing in water. Such applications require suitable water-protection marking for the complete shoe.

Are these safety shoes metal-free?

No. The APT Plate beneath the foot is non-metallic, but the toe cap is made from aluminium. Metal-free construction cannot therefore be inferred from the midsole.

Can I wear orthopaedic insoles?

The model is intended for orthopaedic adaptations within the scope of DGUV 112-191. Only a shoe-and-insole combination approved for this shoe may be used. Arrange the modification with a suitably qualified specialist.

What is the difference between the footbed and penetration protection?

The removable Cofra Soft footbed provides comfort and cushioning. The APT Plate is a separate protective layer in the sole construction. Removing the footbed does not remove this protective layer.

What fit does width 11 provide?

11 Mondopoint indicates the last width of the Coppi. Trying the shoes on with work socks remains important: the heel should be secure and the toes must not press against the toe cap when walking or kneeling.

How do I care for the nubuck surface?

Remove dry dirt carefully with a nubuck brush. After damp cleaning, allow the shoes to dry at room temperature. Use suitable nubuck care and impregnation products according to their instructions; do not dry the shoes on a radiator.
