Description

The Climax safety helmet provides industrial protection according to EN 397 and electrical insulation according to EN 50365. The polyethylene shell is supported by a 6-point suspension. The moisture-absorbing sweatband and headband extending well into the nape support the fit. 30 mm accessory slots are provided for compatible headband ear defenders or visor holders.

Protection and equipment

EN 397 covers mechanical industrial protection, including protection against impact and penetration. Electrical class 0 under EN 50365 is intended for systems up to 1,000 V AC or 1,500 V DC. The helmet is only one part of the required protective equipment. The separate 440 V AC marking under EN 397 must not be confused with this; it is not authorisation for live working.

Accessories and variants

Suitable accessories such as behind-the-head ear defenders or a visor holder can be attached through the 30 mm slots. The helmet is available in seven colours; colour selection may support workplace identification but does not replace individual workplace procedures.

Fit and pre-use inspection

The headband adjusts from 53 to 61 cm. The helmet weighs approximately 340 g and is designed for temperatures down to −10 °C. Before use, inspect the shell, internal equipment and fastenings. Replace the helmet after a significant impact, even if no external cracks are visible.
