Description

The signal-yellow high-visibility vest helps children remain visible in traffic, on the way to school and during outings. Two horizontal reflective strips reflect incident light. Lightweight fabric made from 100% polyester at 120 g/m² and the front hook-and-loop fastening make it easy to wear and put on. The vest measures 40 × 40 cm and is intended for children up to approximately 140 cm tall.

Visibility in daylight and darkness

The signal-yellow base colour stands out in daylight and dusk. The two horizontal reflective strips reflect incident light, such as vehicle headlights, and enhance visibility in poor light.

Fit and fastening

The 40 × 40 cm dimensions are intended for children up to approximately 140 cm tall. The front hook-and-loop fastening allows easy opening and closing.

Frequently asked questions

What height is the high-visibility vest intended for?

The 40 × 40 cm dimensions are intended for children up to approximately 140 cm tall. For smaller children, check the fit against their actual body measurements.

Will the vest fit over a winter coat?

Compare the 40 × 40 cm dimensions with the clothing worn underneath. The hook-and-loop fastening should close without restricting movement. The guidance up to approximately 140 cm tall does not replace this fit check.

Are the reflective strips visible in the dark?

The two horizontal reflective strips reflect incident light, such as vehicle headlights. Their effect depends on the light source, distance and surroundings.

Which standards are specified for the vest?

The marking states EN 340 and EN 1150. EN 1150 is an older standard for non-professional high-visibility clothing. This does not establish classification under EN ISO 20471.
