Description

Remove tree resin and tar from specific areas

First remove loose dirt from the soiled area. Apply the remover, leave it to work briefly and wipe away the dissolved residue with a soft cloth. Do not allow the product to dry; repeat the process if necessary.

Use on a cool surface with a clean cloth

Work on a surface that has not been heated by the sun. Do not scrape resin residue with hard objects or rub dissolved particles over a large area. For sensitive coatings and unknown plastic surfaces, follow their care instructions and test compatibility first.

After treating the stains

Remove the cleaner and dissolved residue by carrying out a suitable subsequent wash. Check any existing wax or care coatings afterwards. Do not simply cover matt patches; first check whether residue or a material change is present.

Frequently asked questions

Can I simply scrape tree resin off the paintwork?

Hard tools can damage paintwork. Dissolve the residue specifically and remove it with a soft cloth instead of scraping it off dry.

What should I do if residue remains after the first application?

Remove the dissolved dirt with a clean cloth and repeat the treatment if necessary. Do not extend the working time arbitrarily and do not allow the product to dry.

Can I use the product on hot paintwork?

Allow the surface to cool first and work in the shade. On hot paintwork, the cleaner may dry too quickly.

Does approval for plastic also mean approval for every matt paint finish?

No. The material and coating must be considered separately. For matt paint, wrapping or an unknown coating, first check its care instructions.
