Description

The VERTO splitting maul is designed for splitting larger and difficult pieces of wood. Its 2,700 g head combines a wedge-shaped splitting edge with a broad striking face for driving suitable splitting wedges. The fibreglass handle supports two-handed use; a rubberised grip completes the specification for work at the chopping block.

The wedge-shaped profile drives the wood apart on impact. For branched or difficult-to-split pieces, the rear striking face can be used to drive in a suitable splitting wedge approved for striking with a steel hammer.
