Description

The Cofra ANES welding trousers are made from 100% cotton denim with a weight of 410 g/m² and a flame-resistant, antistatic treatment. They are intended for welding and related activities. The pocket layout and knee-pad pockets add practical functionality for work.

Functional pocket layout

The trousers have two front pockets, two rear pockets with flaps and hook-and-loop fastening, a folding-rule pocket and a side pocket. Frequently used tools and work essentials remain readily accessible.

Using the knee-pad pockets

The knee areas have pockets for suitable pads. For welding work, the pads used must be suitable for the trousers and the thermal load. A knee-pad pocket alone does not demonstrate certified knee protection.

Frequently asked questions

Which standards are specified for the trousers?

EN ISO 11611 concerns protective clothing for welding and related processes. EN ISO 11612 covers protection against heat and flame. Selection for a particular process also depends on the marked performance levels and the hazards involved.

Which jacket matches the ANES welding trousers?

The Cofra ANIR is the jacket from the matching denim series. Both garments must overlap sufficiently and, together with the remaining protective equipment, be suitable for the welding process used.

Which pockets do the trousers have?

They have two front pockets, two rear pockets with flaps and hook-and-loop fastening, a folding-rule pocket and a side pocket.

Which sizes is the model available in?

The size range is 44 to 64.

Does the antistatic treatment make the trousers suitable for ESD or ATEX areas?

This material property alone does not constitute ESD or ATEX approval. The required marking and the company's operating requirements are decisive.
