Description

The Lemigo Ilse is a classic women’s wellington boot made from waterproof, one-piece moulded PVC for gardening, stables, animal care, cleaning, floristry and catering environments. The OB SRC CI marking to EN ISO 20347 identifies occupational footwear without a toe cap, with tested slip resistance and cold insulation. The boot is available in sizes 36 to 42 and in green, yellow, pink, navy or blue.

Occupational footwear without a toe cap

OB identifies occupational footwear to EN ISO 20347 and is not equivalent to safety footwear with a toe cap. For work involving an expected risk of impact, falling objects or crushing in the toe area, appropriately classified safety footwear is required.

Slip resistance and cold insulation

SRC combines slip tests on ceramic with cleaning solution and on steel with glycerine under the older version of the standard. This does not mean slip-free performance on every surface. CI indicates cold insulation of the sole construction without specifying a personal comfort temperature. The textile lining and narrower women’s fit complete the design.

Is the Ilse a safety boot with a toe cap?

No. OB identifies occupational footwear to EN ISO 20347 without a mandatory toe cap. For work involving impact, falling-object or crushing hazards, appropriately classified safety footwear is required.

What does SRC mean?

SRC combines two slip tests under the older version of the standard: ceramic with cleaning solution and steel with glycerine. The surface and contamination in use affect actual grip.

What does CI mean?

CI indicates tested cold insulation of the sole construction. The test at −17 °C for 30 minutes does not promise that your feet will remain warm at this temperature for any length of time. Movement, socks and duration of exposure affect thermal comfort.

What work are the boots suitable for?

They are suitable, among other uses, for gardening, stables and animal care, garden centres, floristry, cleaning and catering environments, provided no additional toe cap or other specific protection is required.

How does the women’s fit run?

The Ilse has a standard fit with a narrower women’s shape. Try it on with the intended socks: toes need room to move and the heel should sit securely. For a very wide forefoot, a wider model may be more suitable than a larger size.

How do I clean the PVC boots?

Remove dirt with water and a soft brush. Allow them to air-dry away from radiators. Do not use aggressive cleaners or solvents; care products must be explicitly suitable for PVC.
