The green Verto hose coupling connects a ½-inch garden hose to a suitable plug-in connector, for example at a tap connection or spray gun. The plastic part is designed for a hose with a 13 mm internal diameter and has...

Description

Suitable hose and plug-in connection

The ½-inch or 13 mm specification refers to the internal diameter of the hose. The other side of the coupling accepts a suitable plug-in connector. The plug profile of the mating part must match the coupling system.

Changing equipment without a water stop

If the water supply is open, water will continue to run from the hose after disconnection. Close the tap before changing equipment and release the pressure through the connected device. Keep the coupling and plug-in connector clean so that dirt does not affect the connection.

Frequently asked questions

Does the coupling close automatically when I disconnect the spray gun?

No. This design has no water stop. Close the tap first and release the line pressure.

Is ½ inch the thread on the tap?

Here, ½ inch refers to the suitable hose internal diameter of approximately 13 mm. A separate tap connector with a suitable thread and plug-in connector is required for the tap.

Can I connect two hoses using this coupling alone?

You also need a connector with suitable plug-in connectors and a coupling on the second hose. Two hose couplings cannot be plugged directly into each other.
