Thread and plug connection

With the reducer fitted, screw the connector onto a tap with a 3/4-inch male thread; without the reducer, it fits 1 inch. A Power Jet hose coupling fits the outlet. Standard quick couplings are not compatible with this larger plug system.

Material and care

The connector is made of lime-coloured plastic. At the end of the season, clean and empty the connector and seal, then store them in a frost-free place.

Will this connector fit my tap?

The tap needs a matching male thread: 1 inch without the reducer or 3/4 inch with the reducer fitted. The inch measurement is a nominal thread size and does not correspond to the measured outside diameter in millimetres.

Which coupling fits the outlet?

You need a Power Jet hose coupling for the larger plug nipple. Standard quick couplings do not fit this outlet directly.

When is the enlarged bore useful?

A larger connection cross-section can reduce a restriction in a suitable irrigation line. The actual available water flow also depends on the tap, pressure, hose length, hose diameter and end user/load.

How should the connector be stored over winter?

Clean the connector and seal, empty them completely and store them in a frost-free place.
