Description

These size 10 work gloves have a 3M Thinsulate lining, an Amara outer surface, synthetic-leather palm reinforcement and rubber knuckle inserts.

Material and palm

Amara is a synthetic material with a leather-like surface. The grey Amara palm is additionally reinforced with synthetic leather. Elastane complements the outer construction and supports its flexibility.

Lining and knuckle inserts

The 3M Thinsulate lining provides thermal insulation. Rubber inserts complement the construction at the knuckles. No specific impact-protection class is stated for these inserts.

Cuff and size

The hook-and-loop fastener adjusts the cuff at the wrist; an elasticated section supports the fit. The lined model is available in size 10.

Frequently asked questions

What does Thinsulate mean on these winter gloves?

Thinsulate refers to the insulating lining from 3M. It is the material brand of the insert and not the manufacturer's designation for the finished glove.

Can I use small tools while wearing the lined gloves?

This depends on the fit, tool and task. The reinforced palm supports gripping, while the lining can alter tactile feedback. Check safe handling before starting work.

Are the gloves designed for wet work?

A fully waterproof construction is not specified. A water-repellent surface alone does not prevent water entering through seams or openings. Choose a model designed for wet tasks.

How should I adjust the hook-and-loop cuff?

Close the cuff so that it stays at the wrist without constricting. The fingers must be able to move; a tight cuff cannot compensate for an oversized glove overall.

Does EN 420 confirm cold or impact protection?

The standard covers general requirements for protective gloves. It does not establish a specific level of cold or impact performance. Suitable performance marking is required for those hazards.
