Connect three lines with the same connection size

The T-piece joins three line ends to form a branch. All connections are the same size. It is a push-on connector for suitable irrigation lines and has no compression fittings.

Prepare hose ends carefully

Cut the matching line ends straight, clean them and push them fully onto the push-on connections. The connection must not be subjected to sideways tension. Any securing method and the permitted operating pressure must match the hose system; check for leaks after installation.

Plan the water demand of the branches

The two branches share the water supply from the main line. Line length, cross-section and the connected drippers or sprinklers affect supply. If irrigation is uneven, check the line design rather than assuming an automatically equal split.

Is this T-piece a PE compression fitting?

No. It has three push-on connections onto which suitable line ends are pushed. It does not have compression fittings with union nuts.

Will every hose labelled 25 mm fit?

In addition to the nominal size, the inside diameter, wall construction and connection type must match the push-on connector. The size stated for another pipe system alone does not confirm compatibility.

Does the T-piece automatically divide the water evenly?

No. Distribution depends on the resistance of the two line routes and the water demand of the connected equipment.

Can I use one connection for a 20 mm line?

All three connections have the same 25 mm size. Use a suitable reducer or a connector correctly sized for the smaller line.

How can I prevent a leaking push-on connection?

Use clean, undamaged and correctly sized line ends and push them fully on. Fit any securing method required for the hose system and check the connection for leaks before normal operation.
