Description

The IBC screw cap with integrated vent replaces a missing or damaged cap on compatible containers. The vent supports pressure equalisation when water is drawn through the lower outlet or when air must escape during filling. Made of UV-stabilised plastic, the cap is screwed by hand onto the compatible tank neck using its 155 mm internal thread.

Pressure equalisation when drawing water

When water is drawn from the lower IBC outlet, air must enter the tank space being emptied. The integrated vent supports this pressure equalisation and can help prevent the flow from slowing due to negative pressure during rapid withdrawal.

Installation and inspection

Before fitting, ensure that the threads and sealing surface are clean and free from residue. Tighten the cap by hand; excessive force can damage plastic threads or sealing surfaces. Keep the vent opening free from coarse dirt.
