Material and visibility

To align a course of masonry or mark out a straight line, tension the string between suitable fixing points. The yellow colour makes the reference line easier to see. Where possible, divide long unsupported spans into shorter sections so that the string sags less.

Length and strength

The roll contains 1000 m of string with a diameter of 1.5 mm and a specified length tolerance of ±3%. Breaking load is a test value, not a recommended working load.

Winding up after use

Remove coarse dirt from the braided polypropylene string after use and wind it up neatly. Avoid sharp edges at fixing points and replace damaged sections. For permanently tying delicate plants, choose a wider, plant-friendly tie.

No. Breaking load is a test value, not an approved working load. Knots, sharp edges and wear can reduce the load-bearing capacity. Do not use the masonry line as lifting equipment or for securing people.

How can I prevent the builder's line from sagging?

Tension the string evenly between fixed points and divide long runs into shorter sections. Excessive tension can loosen the fixing or damage the string.
