Description

The Högert JURAL II high-visibility T-shirt is made from polycotton knit fabric with 65% polyester and 35% cotton at 180 g/m². Fluorescent warning yellow or warning orange and printed reflective bands support visibility. The shirt is assigned to class 2 under EN ISO 20471 and to the basic standard EN ISO 13688, and is available in sizes S to 4XL.

Warning colours and reflective bands

Fluorescent warning yellow or warning orange supports recognition in daylight. The reflective bands return incident light, such as vehicle headlights. They do not emit light themselves. The required high-visibility class depends on the risks and visibility conditions at the workplace.

Lightweight polycotton knit

At 180 g/m², the blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton is intended for warm working days. If the shirt is worn under other clothing, covered warning areas do not contribute to visible high-visibility coverage. Protective clothing must remain sufficiently visible during use.

Frequently asked questions

Is the T-shirt sufficient for every workplace requiring high-visibility clothing?

No. The required high-visibility class depends on the risk assessment and workplace conditions. The shirt is assigned to class 2 under EN ISO 20471.

Can I wear the shirt under a work jacket?

Yes, as a clothing layer. However, a jacket covers the shirt’s warning colour and reflective bands. The outer clothing must then provide the required visibility.

Which sizes are available?

Sizes S to 4XL are available. The manufacturer’s allocation is S = 48, M = 50, L = 52, XL = 54, 2XL = 56, 3XL = 58 and 4XL = 60.

Are the reflective bands sewn on?

No. The reflective bands are printed.

How often may the shirt be washed?

The stated test limit is five washes at 40 °C on a normal cycle. This is not a guarantee that the high-visibility performance will remain intact until the fifth wash regardless of wear. Count wash cycles and check the shirt before every use for fading, dirt and damage. After reaching the limit, do not continue using it as high-visibility clothing without appropriate evidence.

May I iron the high-visibility shirt or tumble-dry it?

No. The care marking excludes ironing and tumble-drying. Bleaching and dry-cleaning are also not intended. Wash without fabric softener and air-dry.
