Description

Included are one 1/2-inch tap connector, one valve with 1/2-inch male thread, ten tees, five 90° elbows and ten end caps for compatible 16 mm drip hoses. The drip hose itself is required separately.

Installation

Cut the hose straight and without crushing it, then push it onto the barbs of the connectors. The hose type, internal diameter and wall thickness must match the barb connection. After assembly, open the water supply slowly and check every connection for secure fit and leaks.

Planning the pipe routing

Tees divide one line into branches. Elbows route the hose around right-angled corners without sharp bending. End caps close the ends of the lines. The valve shuts off the connected line. Provide a filter and pressure reducer suited to the requirements of the drip hose used.

Frequently asked questions

Will every hose labelled 16 mm fit?

The connectors are intended for compatible 16 mm drip hoses. Because the hose is pushed onto a barb, the internal dimensions, wall thickness and hose type are also important. The same outside diameter alone is not sufficient for identification.

Is the hose inserted into the connector?

With these barb connectors, the hose is pushed over the barb. The hose end must be cut cleanly and sit fully on the connection.

Does the set include drip hose and a filter?

No. The set contains the 27 listed connection and joining parts. Add compatible drip hose and, where required, filtration or pressure regulation.

Can I control several irrigation zones independently?

Tees allow several branches. However, the single valve included can only shut off the connected water line as a whole. Separate valves are required for independently switchable branches.

What line length is possible?

The permitted length depends on the drip hose, its emitters, the available water volume and the pressure. The accessory set does not specify a general maximum line length.
