The Bradas White Line tap connector with sieve filter retains coarser sand, rust and dirt particles before they enter the irrigation line. Its 1-inch female thread fits a corresponding male thread on the tap; the included reducing adapter enables connection to 3/4 inch. The sieve can be removed for cleaning.

Protection for fine irrigation components

The sieve can help protect nozzles and drippers from larger particles. For irrigation components requiring a specified filtration rating, check whether this filter meets the requirement. A dirty sieve can reduce flow and should be cleaned.

Two thread sizes

The threaded side is designed for 1-inch connections. Using the included 3/4-inch reducing adapter, the filter can be fitted to a suitable 3/4-inch tap. The hose side has a 1/2-inch coupling connection.

How is the sieve cleaned?

Turn off the tap, remove the sieve, rinse it under running water and refit it. The sieve can be removed without tools.

Which coupling fits the outlet?

The outlet has a 1/2-inch coupling connection for a matching plug-in coupling.

Can the filter make drinking water safe or soften water?

No. This sieve filter is not intended for that purpose. It retains coarser particles for garden irrigation; removal of dissolved substances or germs is not claimed.
