Description

These red PVC protective gloves in size 10 have a total length of 40 cm, including the cuff. Their full PVC coating provides a waterproof barrier for wet and dirty work. The EN 388 profile 4121X includes abrasion resistance level 4, among other ratings.

Long cuff for wet work

The cuff extends coverage beyond the wrist. Wear the gloves so that water cannot enter through the open cuff. Before wet work, check for holes, tears and damaged coating.

Mechanical performance ratings

EN 388: 4121X means abrasion 4, cut resistance in the coup test 1, tear resistance 2 and puncture resistance 1. Abrasion 4 is the highest level in this part of the test. X in the fifth position means that no TDM cut-protection class is specified.

PVC coating and size

PVC remains soft and flexible when used correctly. For chemical contact, the glove manufacturer’s resistance data for the substance, concentration, temperature and contact time are required. EN 388 and EN 420 alone do not establish chemical protection.

Frequently asked questions

How long are the gloves?

The total length is 40 cm.

Are the gloves suitable for working in water?

Yes, the intact PVC coating is waterproof. The cuff opening must remain above the water so that water cannot run into the glove.

What does EN 388 (4121X) mean?

Abrasion 4, coup-test cut resistance 1, tear resistance 2 and puncture resistance 1. The TDM cut value is marked X; this does not indicate a TDM class from A to F.

What size is available?

The model described is available in size 10.

Are the gloves suitable for acids and solvents?

This must be checked for the specific substance using the manufacturer’s resistance data. The PVC material designation and the substance’s safety data sheet alone are not sufficient to confirm suitability.
