Description

The 59 cm-wide Bradas garden rake gathers hay, grass cuttings and leaves into rows or piles. Its orange rake head has 16 PVC tines and is supplied without a handle. It is designed to be fitted to a suitable wooden handle.

For leaves, hay and grass cuttings

The 16 PVC tines are designed for gathering leaves, hay, grass cuttings and light straw. The 59 cm working width makes it suitable for lawns, beds and courtyard areas.

Handle socket and limitations

Choose a wooden handle that matches the socket and check that it is securely fitted before work. The plastic rake is intended for collecting and spreading light garden materials. Use a suitable tool for breaking up hard soil or moving stones.

Guide it across the lawn with light pressure

Use even strokes and take extra care around plants or freshly sown grass. Remove plant material caught after use and store the rake so that the tines are not under continuous load.

Frequently asked questions

Is the wooden handle included?

No. The rake head is supplied. Select and securely fit a wooden handle with a matching socket separately.

What is the 59 cm working width suitable for?

It covers a wide strip on open lawns and courtyards. A narrower tool may be easier to guide between closely spaced plants.

Can I pull heavy, wet piles of leaves with it?

Move wet material in small portions and do not overload the plastic tines. Use a stronger, suitable tool for heavy or compacted piles.

Is the hay rake suitable for loosening compacted soil?

The PVC tines are not designed for this. Use a cultivator, digging fork or suitable soil rake to loosen the ground.
