Description

This double-sided Bradas V-Series tenon saw combines two tooth patterns in one tool. The 7 TPI side with 3D teeth is designed for fast, coarser wood cuts, while the 11 TPI side with 2D teeth supports finer, cleaner cuts. The 310 mm SK5 blade can be adjusted to different angles. An ABS handle, blade guard and hanging feature complete the equipment.

Two tooth patterns for wood

The 7 TPI side with 3D teeth provides a coarse cutting side for fast cuts. The opposite side has 11 TPI and 2D teeth for finer, cleaner wood cuts. Turn the blade over to select the required tooth pattern.

Adjustable blade

The blade angle can be adapted to the cutting situation. The blade is made from SK5 steel and is 310 mm long. Before sawing, check that the selected blade position is securely fixed; do not use a loose fixing as a moving joint.

Protection and storage

After use, the blade guard protects the teeth during transport and storage. The hanging feature allows space-saving storage on a hook or nail. The handle is made from ABS plastic.

Frequently asked questions

What does double-sided mean for this saw?

The blade has teeth on both sides: 7 TPI for coarse cuts and 11 TPI for finer cuts.

What do 7 TPI and 11 TPI mean on a hand saw?

TPI means teeth per inch, or per 25.4 mm. The 7 TPI side has larger gaps between the teeth and is intended for faster, coarser wood cuts. The 11 TPI side has finer teeth and supports cleaner cut edges.

How can I reduce tear-out when cutting wood to length?

Choose the 11 TPI side for a finer cut edge. Support the wood firmly near the cut, mark the line and start sawing with light pressure. Support the workpiece on the exit side too.

Can the blade angle be changed?

Yes. The blade is adjustable and can be adapted to different cutting angles.
