Description

Robbyrob Adhesive Residue and Stain Remover dissolves adhesive residue as well as fat, oil and tar stains from suitable textiles and carpets. Apply the solvent-based liquid specifically to the soiled area. Check the compatibility of the fibre, colour and material construction before treatment. The bottle contains 500 ml.

Remove glue residue from fabric

First test in a concealed area whether the colour, fibre and, where applicable, carpet backing remain unchanged. Apply the product specifically according to the instructions and dab away the dissolved dirt with a clean cloth. Do not work it over a large area into upholstery or carpet underlay.

Treat the stain and allow the area to air

Treat a small area and do not rub vigorously, so the stain does not spread unnecessarily. Adapt treatment and subsequent cleaning to the textile’s care instructions. Ventilate well and allow treated items to air completely. Do not put textiles contaminated with solvent in a tumble dryer.

Frequently asked questions

Why must I test the remover first?

Fibres, dyes and adhesives react differently to solvents. Assess the test fully before treating the visible area. The carpet backing may also be affected.

Should I rub adhesive residue vigorously out of the fabric?

It is better to dab dissolved residue with a clean cloth. Vigorous rubbing can spread the dirt or alter the fibre surface.

Can I soak the entire carpet with it?

No. The product is intended for targeted stain treatment. Soaking a large area can reach underlays and adhesives and increase solvent exposure.

Can I put the treated garment straight into the tumble dryer?

No. Keep textiles contaminated with solvent away from heat and ignition sources. Carry out subsequent treatment according to the textile and product care instructions and allow the item to air completely.
