Elastic TPR padding and outer material

The elastic thermoplastic rubber padding helps distribute pressure while kneeling. 600D polyester forms the outer material.

Fastening and protection level

Two adjustable hook-and-loop fasteners provide adjustment and attachment around the leg. The knee pads are worn externally over trousers. The stated specifications are EN 14404:2004+A1:2010 and level 1 puncture resistance.

No. This model is attached externally over trousers with two adjustable hook-and-loop fasteners. Knee-pad pockets are not required.

How tightly should I adjust the hook-and-loop fasteners?

Adjust them so the padding stays in front of the knee while kneeling and does not move excessively when standing up. The straps must not cut in. Check the fit again after several movements.

Does protection level 1 protect against every sharp object?

No. The level describes limited performance according to EN 14404:2004+A1:2010. Remove nails, broken glass and other sharp-edged objects before kneeling; the marking is not approval for kneeling on arbitrary objects.

How does TPR padding differ from a soft fabric design?
